Welcome the the Grove Middle School Counselor webpage.

I am excited about the opportunity to get to know you & your child and am looking forward to a happy & productive 2011-2012 school year. 

Curriculum areas we will focus on this year during classroom guidance include:

1. orientation
2. organizational skills
3. bullying & violence prevention
4. drug awareness & prevention
5. anger management & conflict resolution
6. self-esteem & self respect
7. internet , cell phone usage & guidelines
8. stress management
9. character development

 Our Professional Learning Communities (PLC) meet each Wednesday.  Utilizing the "Bullying in Schools"  books, we will conduct a book study and engage in activities and discussions.

Students are encouraged to share their feelings and ideas regarding subject matter while maintaining respect for others.
